Hey there, thanks for checking my post out. As the title says, I'm looking to make some close friends with which i can text along the day (or even vc if everything goes nicely). Disclaimer tho, i type quite a bit when i'm excited or interested about something and not really more than a couple of word if not (as i really don't have much to say likely). I'd want us to be able to trust each other and to be excited to spend time together.
As for myself, i love hearing people talk about what excites/interests them and why. Personally i love storytelling and the animation medium. I also like gamedev stuff but never liked programming 😅 (my favorite games are rain world and nuclear throne). I also like philosophy btw but anyway i'll leave things to this for now.

Is there a problem with aim assist with this new season? As if with a few other problems with this game. I tried every fine tuning to the assist, long rang focus, among others and with default on and off and con not stick my 1.50 dot sights on targets before firing. I’ve became a bullet magnet 🧲 every time I shoot or spawn. So, back to the drawing board and turn everything off. Any words of wisdom and for the wisecracks “I’m blind as a bat and can’t hit a broad side of a barn.” Now that I can hit.

I have a project with a few dozen raw javascript files. Many of them have "export default ..." in one location, and "import ..." in other files. I would like to find a method of combining these into a compressed/uglified/minified single file so it is easier for browsers to download and maybe increase the difficulty a bit in others understanding my code.
So far, I found a few options that require Babel, TypeScript, and/or RequireJS, but these options appear to be older and not what I'm looking for. I would like to keep this as raw Javascript for various reasons.
Are there any tools or options that I could use when it comes to trying to achieve this goal? Tool names and/or links to documentation would be greatly appreciated!

I'm new to Bluestacks and the game I want to play (AnimA: Reign of Darkness) and it also doesnt have any in-game key rebind settings so I will need to use Bluestacks custom controls
I got everything installed and when the game loads up it defaults to using WASD to move the character around the world but I would rather have it PC Diablo/Torchlight style where you use the mouse to click where you want to go and also use left and right click for primary/secondary skills

I have had a H610PRO V2(8192) tablet for a few years now with few if any problems.
I just purchased a Huion Keydial KD100 and I am not sure what to do. Everything works poorly if at all and mostly it's a software issue, I am sure.
For starters, on their website there are 2 drivers you can download for the KD100. Already I felt bad vibes when I saw that because there is no explanation whatsoever. One is older by a month, but otherwise they give no explanation which one you should use.
After I installed the older one, it recognized my tablet as well as the KD100, except that it wiped out all my shortcuts. No big deal, right?
Nope, big deal.
To make a long story short, the two devices don't work well together.
First it was the Keydial wheel that refused to let me program it. When I finally it allowed me to change it, it wouldn’t go back to the default settings.
Then the tablet disappeared completely., I restarted, changed USB ports, prayed at the temple of Athena. Nothing worked.
Finally I had the brilliant idea to look for the tablet drivers. Bingo, those found both devices, except that when I am assigning and naming shortcuts every other time it crashes my... Keyboard?
I don't know how else to describe it. My keyboard stops working, in all apps (including the driver settings) but not completely. I use Notepad to check the keyboards (I tried a BT, a Logitech wireless and my old, cable one that I keep on my tower desktop in case I need to work on the BIOS.
Nothing works, except that randomly it would try to exit Notepad (asking me to save, cancel, etc. or it would bring another app to the front.
I have taken to saving a backup for each time I make a change (I lost too many) so that saved me from having to redo my shortcuts over and over.
I submitted a ticket, but Huion are notorious for not giving a crap. Plus so many different things went wrong with the keypad and the tablet, I had to summarize a lot (like I am doing here).
Crazy stuff. It was like they intentionally wrote code to drive their customer nuts.
If anyone else has such a combo, I'd like to hear how it's going.
Next I am going to try to open the backup files and see if I can make my own and I wait for new drivers to be released.
Other than that, I love the keypad. It make working in Photoshop so much faster. I was going to buy one for my wife, but she may inherit mine and I'll switch to something a bit more reliable.

I am having some issues with setting up my ER4 with port forwarding and Firewall Policies.
The router can successfully port forward traffic when no additional firewall policies are in place using auto firewall. The problem is that I have multiple VLANs that are able allowing traffic between them so I set up firewall policies to block the traffic to other VLANs. This worked but broke all of the port forwarding rules for whichever VLAN gets locked down. When I try to manually port forward, nothing changes.

My family member was served with a summons for a civil law suit looking to establish mineral rights abandonment and quiet title against their interest in an inherited property.
My family member was not originally listed as a defendant. The suit commenced in 2021 and a notice was provided to all heirs of one of the defendants in a local newspaper. An answer was filed with the court a few weeks later by an Attorney representing 8 heirs not named in original lawsuit. In the answer the Attorney counter claimed for a class action stating there are more heirs. According to the court docket the Plaintiff filed a motion to dismiss the counter claim for the class action then later retracted it (but reserved the right to file said motion again) while the Plaintiffs and Defendants worked through a settlement. After the motion was retracted a joint motion was filed by both plaintiff and defendants to join a number of additional heirs (defendants) to the suit. My family member was served a summons as they are an heir.
The court documents state the counsel representing the defendants is also representing all heirs.
I’m aware that in most situations if you are served a summons and don’t answer a default judgment will be entered against you.
Couple of questions in regards to this situation.
(1) Does the class action counterclaim protect my family member’s interest even if they fail to file an Answer with the court? Or will they lose their interest via default judgement?
(2) can my family reach out to and receive fair representation from the defense attorney on file since he is already representing a bunch of heirs in the case and the court docs state he is representation for all heirs? If they do reach out to the attorney how would they go about initiating communication and is the attorney required to disclose the terms of the settlement agreement that is currently being negotiated?
(3) one of the named defendants who came forward after the publication is my family member’s uncle. Upon receipt of the summons my family member called him and asked what was up. He told my family member to do nothing and that the class action counterclaim would protect their interest. Is it naive to trust him? I feel like the whole class action counterclaim is essentially a red herring to entice people not to file an answer resulting in a default judgement against their interest but I may just be a cynic.
Any advice is appreciated!
Notes: this is taking place in Ohio. Would prefer to get answers to questions asked not speculation regarding if it’s worth it to pursue, value of mineral rights, etc. the case is long and complicated but ultimately after spending a lot of time reviewing it there seems to be a legal interest and a decent amount of money involved.

My windows Windows 1909 has gone stale again, i used the 1909 edition regedit tweak, but it still got a bunch of none feature updates that ruined it, this time specifically the background windows defender processes are overheating the NVME drive with multiple terabytes of read/writes per day the drives often reach over 100c in HWinfo at otherwise idle operation, the default admin account can't disable them, so i have to boot some other OS to try and fix the problem
Wifi 6/Bluetooth drivers notably lack support for older versions of Windows 10, and that, means the integrated wifi/bluetooth on any Z690 or newer board, which is why i had tried installing a 1909 iso in the first place, when 7 or 8.1 or 1709, wouldn't have this problem, but if i hate Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Pacman is not as awful, but still a nightmare, maybe NixOS is reliable???, looks like the only thing that doesn't suffer from library hell to me.
i really need something that just runs all the drivers i need for the lifespan of the hardware i have without breaking, new Software does not seem capable of this task, also working with a new motherboard would be a great pipe dream, but currently Windows 10 breaks faster then my Hardware.
maybe if i have something reliable as a storage server that never receives any updates for anything at all, and i just burn through disposable OSes for anything that is not storage, that might be better then trying to rely on any modern OS to receive updates, data/software migration is exhausting, but ofc Ext4 makes interoperability difficult in that case.

In the album you can see the full model that was #1. Default settings for my Kobra Neo.
The half model is after I stepped up the retraction Prime by 5mms. I did another half model with another 5mms with no difference.
The Sliced images show the lines above and blow the problem area as well as the middle area where the wall is one continuous piece.
I would just ask "How do I fix X?" But I dont know what to call X so I cant even RTFM hard enough to know what to ask. I was hoping you beautiful people know where to point me.

I enrolled in both the Android 14 beta and the 1Password Android app beta,. Under settings > Passwords and Accounts, I selected 1Password for 'Passwords, passkeys, and data services". I also disabled google as an additional provider.
When registering with a Passkey at https://passage.1password.com/demo, it saved the password to my google account instead of 1Password. On the registration prompt I was only able to select my google accounts, and I don't see any option in Chrome to use a different password manager...
Is there something I am missing? How do I save Passkeys to 1Password in Android 14 Beta 3?

I registered for an account on Lemmy.one (running v0.17.3) and confirmed that my account exists because https://lemmy.one exists. On the login page, after entering my username and password and pressing the "Login" button, the button turns into a loading icon that never finishes loading. Is anyone else encountering this issue?

I'm quite gutted that a lot of people aren't liking Rokudo's Bad Girls because to me, it's something different and it's something very good. As I said in the discussion for the latest episode, I love this show in large part due to Rokudo himself. And I think people who don't like the show assume he's a generic harem protagonist and that the show is a generic harem.
Realistically, he's like a not-shit Takemitchy from Tokyo Revengers. In fact, this is another show which seems to handle something Takemichi does better, except unlike Erased and ReLife with the whole "Adult is a teenager again" motif, this one does the "Dork falls in with a bunch of delinquents" trope way better. Because Rokudo is a genuinely nice guy with some dignity. There's no sadistic "This guy is a loser and his friends are his friends begrudgingly and by default." His friends care for him and he's got no horny. He's a legitimately nice dude who uses his harem powers not to seduce women he shouldn't, he uses it to try and help them better themselves and make his and his friends' school life all the better for it.
It's a fun show with an optimistic tone for it. Yes, that's possible in a show about high school delinquents. Because the overlying message is that there's good even in the biggest of delinquents and that friendship is something which should be cherished. There are no classic harem shenanigans, at least not played straight.
As you can probably tell, I really like Rokudo's Bad Girls. What do y'all think, Anime?

This has been incredibly frustrating, I can’t find these 2 commands within Logitech G Hub. I think the default keyboard shortcut are “Command + Left” and “Command + Right” for back and forward, so I made macros and assign to the mouse, still won’t work

My Samsung fell in water at a natural hot springs for 2 seconds or less. It turned on for 10 minutes that night then shut off by itself. The next morning it turned on for two minutes then shut off. Never to fully turn on again but continously power cycling until charge runs out. I went to the water damage specialist in town and he tried swapping parts but it didn't work. He said it's possible to turn on after some time but no idea. He recommend drive savers but the cost is too expensive for me. I sent it in this morning and called to see if they can repair it enough to turn on and I can send a new device to quickly do Smart Switch but they said they can only try to recover. I have all my life on that phone including passwords for almost all my accounts except Reddit. So I'm out of everything because I always copied my passwords from my notes and 20k photos videos. Texts. Contacts. Nothing was backed up anywhere. I'm gutted and curious if any of you know somewhere that can get my phone just functioning to do the transfer?

With the new leak of the "Eternal Bob" bossfight, I've seen some creative ideas of what it could be. Lots of people are saying it will like kraken where once you beat it you get a badge and a brand new glove, but I think it will be something different. Bob is sort of the only canon "lore" in Slap Battles, so I think it makes sense to try to embrace it and add more stuff to work with. I still think there will be a new glove in the big update, but it will be unrelated to bob. I personally think (and hope) that once you beat Eternal Bob, you will be rewarded the bob glove. Obviously you can't do that, right? It's already a glove and a badge that lots of people have! It wouldn't be fair to change it! But I disagree. I think Tencelll and the devs should make a new badge for beating EB (eternal bob) and replace it with the current badge. The old badge will be completely unobtainable, and people who already have the glove will automatically be rewarded the new badge, and also receive a compensation of some sort (25k slaps, free UGC, special role in the discord server idk). I believe this would be a good idea because the way to obtain bob right now is not fair. If you don't know, in order to get the badge you need to summon "bob" with the replica glove, which is a 1/7500 (0.01333333%) chance. These odds are insane. It doesn't seem bad at first sight, but if you try to actually get it, you can see what I'm talking about. It turns slap battles , frankly, into a boring mess. The ways to legitimately "grind" it include: Camping on a tree somewhere and using tinytask or smth to autoclick (AFK) , go to a VIP server with a friend and AFK using an autotyper or whatever, or manually go to the main arena portal, press e, reset character, rinse and repeat. All of these options have a downside, though. AFKing in a pub might not work because of people trying to kill you (pusher, jet, default, etc..), the VIP server one might not work because you may not have friends, or at least friends that are willing to afk in a Slap roblox game overnight, or at least friends that are willing to afk in a Slap roblox game overnight with a working PC or ipad or whatever that are actually willing to cooperate. The third method is blatantly the fastest and most effective, but the downside is that it's so goddamn boring! Your fingers start to get sore after a while, and your extensive ADHD starts to kick in too. I just think it's an overall bad design and unfun glove to obtain. I think that if the devs follow through follow through with my idea, it will please a lot of players.

Before I end off, I want to point out that there have been some rumors spreading around that Tencelll might add "trading" to the game, where you can trade badges and gloves. I think this is stupid. 1. I'm pretty sure you can't trade badges in Roblox, let alone remove a badge from a player's inventory, and 2. it would just ruin all badge gloves because if someone wants to get a glove they don't have to grind it anymore they can just ask somebody, and 3. I'm pretty sure you don't want "gUyS i NeEd dEtOnAtOr pLz cAn sOmeBoDy gIvE iT tO mE" in every public server, and glove giveaways on popular youtube channels. 4. It just doesn't make any sense at all.
