Richard Neal’s Inner Circle of Corporate Lobbyists and Real Estate Developers, from Sludge Friends, family, and staff of Rep. Richard Neal have all benefited from the revolving door linking Springfield and K Street, at great cost to Massachusetts residents Neal, in his 16th term, finds himself in a single-digit race against progressive Holyoke mayor Alex Morse, according to two recent polls. On August 19, Rep. Richard Neal’s powerful D.C. lawyer Brian Svoboda sent a cease and desist letter to local news station WWLP-22, in Massachusetts’s First Congressional District. An outside ad had been hammering the incumbent over his record of taking more money from corporations than any other member of Congress. Writing on behalf of Neal, Svoboda claimed that the ad, from Justice Democrats, conflates taking “money from corporations”—a felony under federal law—with taking money from corporate PACs. The legal counsel for Justice Democrats described the letter as “not valid from a legal perspective.” ADVERTISING The letter comes as Neal, in his 16th term, finds himself in a single-digit race against progressive Holyoke mayor Alex Morse, according to two recent polls. The primary is on Tuesday. Semantics aside—and he is in fact the single largest recipient of corporate (PAC) dollars in all of Congress—Neal has used his powerful position as chair of the Ways and Means Committee to grease a revolving door that shepherds friends, family, and staffers between his office and the lobbyist firms that advocate on behalf of his biggest donors. Before threatening a local news provider with legal action, Neal made no small effort to conceal his fealty to the powerful special interest groups funding his campaign, corporate interests that have a dramatic impact on the lives of his constituents. In 2020 alone, corporations compensating Mueller for her lobbying efforts donated over $290,000 to Neal’s campaign. After twenty years in Rep. Neal’s office, former chief of staff Ann Jabulon also began working as a lobbyist at Capital Counsel, a bipartisan D.C. lobbying firm, in 2016. Public lobbying disclosures show that in 2020, Jabulon’s firm received over one million dollars in income from the same hospital, pharmaceutical, and doctors’ associations that have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Neal’s campaign this cycle. Notable among them is the American Medical Group Association, which opposed legislation that would have curbed surprise billing that Neal ultimately killed and Jabulon lobbied against. Time and again, Massachusetts patients check and double-check that they would not be hit with an out-of-network change for anesthesiologists, radiologists, or emergency room doctors, are told everything will be fine, and still end up owing thousands of dollars. One patient treated at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts, got a bill from “Rhode Island Imaging,” for having their radiologist read X-rays. When the patient questioned “why someone at Sturdy would be billing separately by a Rhode Island company, I was told ‘That’s just the way it is.’” Another patient went for a colonoscopy at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton because that was listed “in network” on her insurance company Cigna’s app. The bill from Cigna then stated “that Cooley Dickinson was out of network … I owed $1,730.06.” The same thing happened to a patient in Salem, who was assured before getting a mammogram that the services would be in network but found out later that the radiologist was not. A fourth patient from Waltham received a $4,321 bill for an out-of-network anesthesiologist. A fifth from Somerville had to pay $5,557.78 for an out-of-network doctor. A sixth from Newton racked up over $10,000 in charges from out-of-network healthcare providers, after confirming that the doctor was in-network. Trade groups representing hospitals, radiologists, and anesthesiologists have devoted over $600,000 to Neal’s effort, both through direct funding to the Neal campaign and third-party spending. WHILE NEAL’S FORMER EMPLOYEES have turned to lobbying, former lobbyists have in turn joined Neal’s staff. Picking up where Mueller left off, Neal’s deputy chief of staff on the House Ways and Means Committee, Elizabeth O’Hara, previously spent six years lobbying for O’Hara Federal Strategies, where her father now serves as principal. One of O’Hara Federal Strategies’ chief clients is Norfolk Southern, which has donated more than $25,000 to Neal over the last four election cycles. In between her former role as Neal’s legislative director and her current role as Senior Counsel to the Ways and Means Committee, Peg McGlinchey lobbied on behalf of Deloitte, Baxter Healthcare, PhRMA, Baxalta, and AmerisourceBergen. Combined, these companies have donated some $52,000 to Neal since 2014. Beyond friends and staffers, a member of Neal’s nuclear family has also come to benefit from the tremendous power that flows from the gavel of the Ways and Means Committee. Neal has also supported the endeavors of friends in addition to congressional staff. Melinda Phelps, head of the government strategies group at the powerful Springfield law firm Bulley Richardson, is also a former member of Neal’s mayoral campaign and a close friend of Neal’s. Phelps sits on multiple boards that have received donations from Neal. Data compiled by the Center For Responsive Politics for the Prospect shows that one of the boards that Phelps sits on, The Spirit of Springfield, has received $15,355 from Neal’s Congressional committee. While Spirit of Springfield is a civic pride organization, Develop Springfield, a privately funded development non-profit where Phelps serves as vice chair, has also received help from Neal. The congressman has written multiple times to the Springfield Community Preservation Committee advocating for public subsidies for private developments supported by the group. Neal has appeared at Develop Springfield events, and touts his record securing federal matching for their projects. None of the projects listed on Develop Springfield’s website mention low-income housing or community-based development, despite their requests for taxpayer dollars intended for projects that “preserve the character of the community.” This falls in line with Phelps’ statements describing community development projects as “encroachments” on middle-class neighborhoods. Phelps’s law firm Bulley Richardson has received $1,800 for “fundraising,” per Center For Responsive Politics records, and hosted a pre-gala VIP reception with Neal last year. Phelps also attended a Spirit of Springfield fundraiser co-chaired by Neal and MassMutual CEO Roger Crandall, although photo galleries on MassLive covering both events disappeared from their site, displaying an “internal server error” message, after the Prospect began contacting sources as part of its investigation into Phelps last week. The removal of the photos comes on the heels of The Intercept’s reporting on the tilted local media coverage of the MA-01 race. As of Sunday, the galleries seem to have been restored. Beyond friends and staffers, a member of Neal’s nuclear family has also come to benefit from the tremendous power that flows from the gavel of the Ways and Means Committee. As The Intercept reported earlier this month, Neal’s son Brendan was able to secure a lucrative lobbying job with Trestle Energy, a California-based biofuel company, after Neal helped the biofuel industry win a $3 billion dollar tax credit. As Lee Fang wrote, “The legislative gift followed a series of PAC donations from the largest ethanol and biofuel companies in America to Neal’s campaign, a tradition that enriches the campaign war chests of most legislators on the tax-writing committee.” Total biofuel industry donations to Neal this cycle are over $20,000. In addition to taking biofuel money, Neal has also advanced legislation that would give massive tax incentives to biomass energy providers like the embattled Palmer Renewable Energy, which has fought a prolonged battle with activist groups and city councilors to build a wood-burning biomass plant in East Springfield. Already suffering from the highest rates of asthma in the country, Springfield residents have raised the alarm over the plant’s potential to worsen public health, a sentiment that activists and local politicians have echoed. In 2010 Palmer Paving, whose owners the Callahans are also investors in the east Springfield plant, donated $5,500 to Neal. Between 2012 and 2020 members of the Callahan family donated an additional $2,500.

To end it, the Mazic takes their weapon, and stabs the downed Venlil for a quick death.

I would wager that they used bipedalism for intimidation, and blunt force to defend themselves if need be.
The Yotul is far from home. They walk through the trees, looking behind every bush with a small melee spear-like weapon in hand. They do not notice the stepped-on grasses and trails of a large hectaped in their attempt to find a way out, or to other Yotul. The Cusyd, however, spots the marsupial in the distance, it dare step into its territory? The Yotul begins to feel pains in their chest, the extreme oxygen levels and stronger gravity doing its work on the poor being. They are too focused on the pain and their escape to notice the charging beast until its too late, and its head would be impaled with a massive tusk before it even noticed.

#3 Takkan vs #6 Sovren

Takkans are large bipedal ceratomorphs. They are purely terrestrial, and their skin is very rough and thick. It can be assumed that they have large, strong legs, in order to allow for sustained bipedalism. They had very simplistic weapons at this time, only extending blunt force attacks and adding a horn to their head, mimicking some of their close evolutionary relatives.
The Sovren are small bovines from Venrov. They have massive horns and thick, muscular bodies meant for fast escapes, or strong charges, at their planet's sneaky predators. They do not yet have weapons, but they do have shields they attach to their backs when need be. They're jumpy and aggressive, used to sneak attacks from invisible predators.
The Sovren carefully walks across the desert, looking for any vegetation that might have arisen near the watering hole, but alas, no dice. They strut around when the Takkan approaches the same watering hole. The Sovren and Takkan circle the hole for a while when the Takkan is distracted by a pack of smaller predators approaching. Seeing the opportunity, the Sovren charges at the Takkan and pierces their thick skin. While the Takkan hide is a thick one, a Sovren horn is durable and strong enough to pierce through the skin of almost all animals, especially at their top speed of 28mph. And so as the Sovren flees to greener pastures, the Takkan is eaten by the predators, the quick interaction over as quick as its started.

#4 Sulean vs #5 Iftali

Believe me or not, this was an accident.
Both the Suleans and Iftali originated on the same world, and have relatively equal showings in strength and size. The Suleans are plains cervids, with black and white stripes, large antlers, and three grasping toes. They had sophisticated weapons early, like the Mazics and Humans, advanced by their opposable toes. They favored bows and arrows. They were, toe to head, slightly shorter than their omnivorous counterparts. Their best advantage will be their antlers and their home-field advantage.
The Iftali are the omnivorous desert walker counterparts to the Suleans. Somewhat large pink tylopods, they are easily noticeable by their pink fur. They have their own tools, favoring sword-like weapons for their hunting and combat, giving them some benefits in melee, though the antlers could help present a problem.
The Iftali walks onto the grassy plains. They are out of their territory, and not knowing what is going on. In front of them was the Sulean. The Sulean shows their antlers, and steadies their bow. The Iftali, frightened, turns heel and runs away, out of the battle-field

Respect Mizuki Okiura!

Mizuki Okiura (later Mizuki Date) is a clone of Mizuki Kuranushi (later Bibi/the Masked Woman), a genetically-modified superhuman. After both her parents were killed in the New Cyclops Serial Killings, she helped Detective Kaname Date solve their murders. Date would later adopt Mizuki.
Once she turned 18, Mizuki joined the Advanced Brain Investigation Squad (ABIS), a squad of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department of which Date is a member. Operatives of ABIS delve into the minds of witnesses, suspects, and other persons of interest, a process known as "Psyncing." By interacting with the subject's subconscious, a Psyncer can uncover information that they would otherwise be unwilling or unable to provide.
Fans of the Somnium Files series may be aware that the below feats are not all technically the same person. In Nirvana Initiative, the "older" Mizuki is sometimes Kuranushi and sometimes Okiura. The player is unaware of this until later in the game because, as stated earlier, they are identical clones. Similarly, any feats that Kuranushi does can be assumed to apply to Okiura. The only difference is that Kuranushi has a weak heart and Okiura does not.

Aiba

Aiba is an AI-Ball, an artificial intelligence assistant developed by ABIS and Mizuki's partner in Nirvana Initiative. She communicates with Mizuki mentally. Her primary function is to assist Mizuki as they investigate a person of interest's Somnium -- a "dream world" created by their subconscious. Aiba digitally inserts herself into a target's Somnium, allowing her to physically interact with it. This capability requires a large device called a Psync Machine.
However, even outside of Psyncs and Somnia, an AI-Ball has many uses in the field:

So - I just tested this in a non-ironman save and I can confirm that this works. It is perhaps the most broken thing I have ever done in this game and an experienced player could easily accomplish this in the first 50-60 years of the game... provided you're willing to cheat a bit.
We are going to start our journey to form Horde Aksum... as Sirhind.
Wait, what??
Yes.
Sirhind is a unique little country that starts with two unique advantages. A) It starts with cores on all of Delhi and B) It is ruled over by the Skanderbeg of the Ganges himself, Bahlul Lodi.
Now, full disclosure, I accomplished this using the Custom Nation glitch that I outlined on a previous post on this subreddit - but, TL:DR, start a normal game, give yourself all of the Delhi lands you have cores on, and give the extra province to another minor. Then save, exit to menu, load up your non ironman save on the map. Then make a custom nation that overlays the provinces Delhi used to own. Hit done, then select "Show incompatible save games" - and pick a save from a previous patch. It'll ask you if you're sure - hit yes. Your custom nation will be gone and Sirhind will own all of its cores on Delhi. IMPORTANT - tab on over to historical start, then select Sirhind, and start in Ironman.
Why have we done this?
Step 1
If you've followed the instructions, you should be able to state Delhi for free, and then... form Delhi on Day 1. This gives you Delhi's mission tree, its middling ideas (I didn't take them), but most importantly THEIR CORES.
It's Snake time.
Step 2
Declare war on Jaunpur, then Multan, then Bengal. Your goal is to expand both towards Southeast Asia and Arabia through Baluchistan. Your chad general-ruler should be able to sweep through both rather easily. Bahmanis makes for a good ally here. By the end of this step you should have snaked through Bengal, down through Arakan and Pegu and into Ayutthaya. Become a tributary of Ming if you have to.
Step 3
Form Siam and take their ideas. If you culture shift to Siamese this should be fairly straightforward. Keep up with Tech and be sure to take Aristocratic for the Cav Combat ability as your first idea group.
Step 4
Conquer Tibet and expand into Arabia through the Hormuz strait. Hormuz will present a lot of difficulty due to their navy but you want to avoid conflict with the Ottomans and going around through Basra might put you on their radar. Stick to the southern coast of Arabia as you swing around through Oman and Yemen to reach Aden.
Step 5
From Tibet by culture converting again. Keep your Siamese ideas! Unify the region and make sure the Meeting with the Khans mission is available - do not select it yet.
Step 6
Snake into Ethiopia and move your capital to an Amhara culture province. Culture shift when you can but DO NOT form Ethiopia yet. You will need to breeze through Ethiopia's mission tree and if you do this wrong you will lock yourself out of forming this behemoth.
Step 7
Completely conquer the Horn of Africa, Nubia, and the rest of Ethiopia. You need to preemptively complete the requirements for most of Ethiopia's mission tree before you form Ethiopia - so check the Wiki and drop a save when you're ready to flip.
Step 8 - FOLLOW THIS EXACTLY
Once you're ready, click the Meeting with the Khans mission. DO NOT DO IT YET. Leave the prompt up and move it to the side. Now, click the "Restore Solomonid's Legacy" decision to form Ethiopia. You should have Ethiopia's mission tree complete. Flip over to the Negusa Nagast Monarchy gov reform and breeze through Ethiopia's mission tree. You need to get the events to Modernize the Army and Surpass the Past.
Step 9 - AGAIN, FOLLOW THIS EXACTLY
You should have three events on your screen - one for flipping Horde, one to Westernize your units, and one to become Aksum. Flip Horde first - pick either Khoshuud or Khalkha, it doesn't really matter. Then become Aksum, KEEP YOUR SIAMESE IDEAS!!!! Then Westernize your units.
If you did this right you should have a very weird country. You're a Horde, but you have normal estate interactions (no Tribes). You're Aksum, but you have Siamese ideas (with Cav Fire +1). You get Ethiopian events, but have Sino-Altaic culture. You started in Northern India, but you have Western Units. It doesn't make sense... but it IS broken. If you took Aristo Ideas before flipping Horde, you can now take Horde ideas with Espionage and Quality ideas to add +50% Cav Combat ability in addition to your Cav Fire, Flanking, and of course Horde Bonuses.
Now that you're Aksum, you can move north into the Deserts of Egypt for your new Capital province - flat lands, good trade node, and you can use the Nile to bait battles with your horde units. With the Gold mines in Tibet, India, and the many in East Africa money won't be an issue and you can easily go on to conquer all of India to dominate the Indian Ocean trade for even easier income.
Now if you REALLY wanted to min-max this game, you could also go for the Mandate of Heaven as Siam before forming Tibet. There's an amazing oversight in the game that makes you lose the Celestial Empire government reform when you form Persia. So you could go - Sirhind, Delhi, Siam, become Emperor of China, Unify all of China, then form Persia, then form Tibet, and continue the guide. This would give you the high mandate bonuses - but you need to keep at least two Chinese accepted cultures at all times to avoid the Empire in Name only disaster. I wouldn't bother but... you do you boo.

Council Director Cartoro Davis watched the hologram. The screen showed the current vote counts for the Council Director election, and the analyst was going over the breakdowns of city subdivision votes. Some of them went to Councilor Hruthi, who was undoubtedly the third most popular Councilor.
Cartoro had reviewed her policy and held several meetings with her, but he didn't like her stance on some of the Alliance's issues. The stronger, more exclusive focus on Luna to the neglect of almost everything else wasn't a realistic platform for the greater good. And while Luna was already prospering under a new economic golden age, there was little need for even more inward pushing. Juan Pedros, despite his recent arrival on the political scene, had garnered large support from the younger population, both due to his age and his closer resonance with their values. Combining that with Cartoro's hold over most of the middle-aged voting bloc and his endorsement and the game had already been won.
He had the decency to inform Councilor Hruthi of why he didn't support her when she'd asked in private. Though it couldn't be said that they were friends, they were acquaintances at work, which lent a certain level of respect and dignity. No one was Cartoro's outright enemy, mostly because the creation of the Alliance had thoroughly eroded away support for xenophobic rhetoric and positions. In addition to that, such actions also drew the scrutiny of wider Humanity, personified by the voice of the hivemind.
"What do you think, Skira?" Cartoro asked, patting the Skira drone sitting beside him. They'd become decent friends over time, and he found that having a friend that knew as much about human opinions from sheer exposure as Skira did was also useful.
"I don't know. He might just turn out to be evil later on when he's already the Council Director. It took you months to remove Nichole when she was in that coma with Brey, right?"
"True, but that was because of uncertainty."
"She wasn't able to stymie the efforts."
Cartoro frowned. "Really, I don't think that Juan Pedros has that sort of character. I did have Phoebe run a full deep-dive profile on him."
"Deep dive?"
"Analyzing every scrap of public data that Juan Pedros has ever put out, and generating predictions about his character."
Skira put a claw in his mouth and bit at it. "There's a lot wrong with what you just said. What if Phoebe lies? And isn't that incredibly invasive?"
"Phoebe lying is a possibility. The only thing that stops her from taking over society is herself. If she wants even more leverage than she already has, she doesn't need these sorts of activities to get it. And yes, it is invasive."
"So it's wrong."
"In a way. However, such a detailed character assessment is necessary. I've been Council Director for 27 years, Skira. What if he lasts even longer? There's a huge potential for divergence. When he's a long-term facet of both the Alliance and the wider Luna government, such morally dubious and invasive procedures become necessary. I justify it using that reasoning and that the search itself doesn't harm him, and I actually did tell him that was one of my criteria for supporting him."
"Well, if he knows, then it is different," Skira said. "I've had some bad experiences in the past with people who assumed that they were entitled to me without asking."
"I get it," Cartoro said, falling silent as he thought of some of the darker politics of Luna.
"I have a report to make. I have fully developed my fungal network on Venus and have colonized the entire area of Aphrodite Terra."
Skira seemed proud of it, and it was quite an achievement.
"Good job."
"Thank you. But there's another thing that I've been able to do. I'm pulling nearly a quintillion kilograms of carbon out of the atmosphere and storing it in the huge numbers of drones that I am producing."
"Why are you producing those drones?"
"Because I believe that I will be a target in the future from people who hate the Alliance. I would not be surprised if our bad luck made some new empire magically appear that hated us."
"Hey, hey, what's new, everyone!"
Equisa appeared in the room, grinning as Skira jumped. Cartoro could tell that she meant to do it. "Aw, sorry."
"You know you're not, and so do I."
"I thought it would be rude not to say it."
"What's rude is doing it anyway. Just because you're a few billion years old doesn't give you the license to act like a child."
"I'm older than every planet in this star system and also the star itself," Equisa said.
"Too bad. Should've been better."
"Aw. Now that's just mean."
"What's mean is trying to scare me-"
"Successfully scaring you," Equisa interrupted. She smiled and pressed her claws together. Skira growled at her angrily. Cartoro frowned and rolled his eyes at her foolishness. He didn't know why she was doing this. Perhaps she was just bored, or perhaps she simply needed an outlet. Whatever had happened, he'd need to find out later. Perhaps he could ask Penny.
"-As I was saying, it's the behavior of a child."
"We're all children in the eyes of the universe."
"Please shut up," Skira said. "Why are you even here? Don't tell me you're going to try and kill my drone."
"Very well. I am certainly not going to try to kill your drone. Not at all."
"Equisa, why are you here?" Cartoro sighed.
"I can't check up on my wonderful soon-to-be former Council Director?"
"You can. But don't antagonize Skira."
"What if I want to?"
"Then you can wait outside," Cartoro said. He was tired of this.
"Hm. Alright," Equisa replied, clacking her jaws once and settling onto the ground. She looked at the screen that Cartoro was watching.
"Your guy won the election?"
"I assume so. The votes are being tallied."
"What if someone tampers with the machines?"
"The ballots aren't digital. They can't be hacked."
"Not even by Phoebe?"
"What are you getting at, Equisa?"
"I just think that it would be something you'd do."
"I didn't need to at all; my support was enough."
"Ah. And you're planning on abandoning the Council, as well?"
"I might take on an advisory role when asked, but otherwise, yes. The point of retiring is to retire, you know."
"A shame. You made a good leader. Strong, introspective, a little egotistical, and of course, not xenophobic. I'm glad you let me be a Luna citizen, at least."
Skira growled as Equisa stood up and walked toward him. "Say, he's a citizen, too, right?"
"In some nations, yes. He is on Luna."
"Ah. How nice."
"Equisa!" a familiar voice yelled. Skira's snout curled into a toothy grin.
"Oh, my handler's here."
Penny stepped through the doorway, which brought a group of guards to enter the room as well. They put their hands on their guns as they saw Equisa, but she raised her claws and backed away from them.
"Oh no, please don't shoot me! I'm just a harmless alien woman. There's no need for me to die!"
"Stop being a drama queen and let's go, Equisa," Penny said. Cartoro held in a laugh at the scene unfolding before him.
"Say, you wouldn't happen to have an invite to Juan Pedros' victory celebration, would you?"
Penny strode forward and grabbed Equisa, throwing her over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Don't give this one an invite. She doesn't know how to act around people."
"I'll be good! I'll wear one of those dress things and dance with people!"
"Given the result of your last dance, I think not," Penny replied.
"You're just jealous that I caught two humans, where most can't even get one."
"Council Director, I apologize for the inconvenience," Penny said.
"How did you both get through the guards?"
"Well, I'm a hologram, remember?" Equisa said, waggling her claws as they changed colors rapidly. "And Penny's secret was likely Nilnacrawla."
"There's a time and a place, Equisa. Now was not the time, and this is not the place."
Equisa nodded. "When and where?"
"What?"
"The place and time."
Penny turned around to continue walking out the door. "The place is going to be through a wall, and the time is going to be in a minute, if you don't stop this," he heard her mutter to the Elder. Cartoro called over the guards.
"What happened?"
"Penny just appeared in front of the doors. Possibly some psychic effect, possibly something else. Equisa wasn't detectable at all. I'm sorry, sir, this one's on me."
"I should demote you," Cartoro said. "However, this was outside the range of realistic challenges for you to handle. Instead, I'll task you with interrogating them both later to find out what they used to get past you and then develop countermeasures. If you don't have the contacts, then tell me, and we can figure it out."
The guard bowed. "Thank you, sir."
"You're very welcome."
Skira padded over to them, a sympathetic expression on his face. At least, that was what Phoebe had identified as his sympathetic expression during her training class on alien emotion and body language.
"Council Director, please don't fire him. He needs this job, very badly."
"Skira..." the guard began.
"What's going on here?"
"Apparently, Skira took some of my words out of context, when I was discussing home prices with my sister."
Cartoro frowned. "Harper. If you need a pay raise, then I can give it to you. However, after today, it will be delayed. If you are able to get what you need from Equisa and Penny, I'll get you a better raise."
"What of your own money, sir? Now that you're about to no longer be Council Director, what will happen?"

Harper and the guards left the room again. But this time, a new set of guards entered soon after and stood near the walls. Skira and Cartoro watched the final vote tallies come in. Juan Pedros had won the vote by 57%, which was both the plurality and the majority. There wouldn't need to be a runoff, and his inauguration would be in four weeks.
There was still much to do. Cartoro had many things to consider, some of which were incredibly risky. The simplest option practically, yet the most difficult socially, was having a conversation and long-term dialogue with Councilor Hruthi. She was the most likely to oppose Juan Pedros in the future, and Cartoro wanted to ensure that even if she did win a future election, she wouldn't end up breaking the Alliance apart. Not that she could do so on her own.
"You're thinking of doing something really stupid, aren't you?" Skira said.
"Not necessarily stupid, though it may stir a few pots."
"Why?"
"Because the Alliance should establish itself even more strongly in the galactic rumor mill. We can use the momentum of our story and the protection of Phoebe, the hivemind, and the Source to our benefit, much the same way in which we did with the Vinarii corporate fleet and the soon-to-arrive Sennes Hive Union protection fleet."
Cartoro had been placing most of his focus on both the election and ensuring that the fleet could resupply permanently in the Sol system. That meant brokering contracts between Alliance and Union companies, making many diplomatic agreements, and even more paperwork webs to navigate. But it would all be worth it in the end. He needed to do everything possible to tie the Union to the Alliance. And that meant giving back to them, even with their most difficult current demand.
They needed more soldiers for their battle in the Westic Empire's capitol. Millions were being sent into that meat grinder each day, and progress was staggeringly slow and even more costly. But there was a person in the Alliance who could change all of that.
Brey was one of them, of course. She'd be one of the people who would help with Galshaskir's capture. Gaia would help with tracking him down. The hivemind would keep everyone else away. But there was someone needed who could break through all barriers.
"Who is it?"
Cartoro simply shrugged. Skira's eyes widened.
"No..."
"Oh yes."

"President Blistanna, there's been another attack on a meat lab."
"Get me the numbers," Blistanna said, rushing over to her tablet to view the situation. She could see the news shows talking about the attack, and in particular, showing videos of the drones impacting the shields of the facility one by one as air defense guns fired up at them in the dark of the night.
The facilities were deliberately placed on the outskirts of the cities so that the Congressional Republic's casualties would be minimal as it defended its main assets. The security around them was staggering, as it needed to be. Each facility fed hundreds of millions of people, so they needed to be able to withstand impossibly large earthquakes, as well as nuclear attacks.
"Do we know any groups that have claimed responsibility?"
"The Wings of Fury."
"The Acuarfar separatist group that did all those kidnappings a few months back?"
"The very same."
"Get me Empress Fha Charn Izkrala."
"She's unavailable. However, her diplomatic department has reached out to us."
Blistanna held in her anger. She knew that her aide wasn't who she needed to be angry at. No, she needed to be upset with whoever had done this.
"Then get me on call with the-"
A loud siren went off, and the building shook. The shields were working, so something powerful must have hit. Suddenly, multiple communicators in her office started ringing. She saw a hivemind avatar appear next to her, forming a psychic shield over her and her guards, who were clustering near her. Her personal shield was functioning correctly, but it was clear that something big was happening.
"What's going on?" Blistanna asked it.
"Bombings all across Alliance space. Every species, save the Knowers and the wanderers, has been hit. Fifty on Keem, eighty on Earth, five on Luna, two on Mercury, four more on the orbital ring, and six on Ceres. But every Acuarfar planet has been hit, and both the Empires together experienced an estimated eight thousand explosions, targeting power grids, infrastructure, and civilians. Gaia's doing damage control right now."
"Gaia? Damage control?"
That could only mean one thing.
"Nukes?"
"Some, yes. Memphis got hit with two, but the city shields kept the damage localized. There's an estimated hundred thousand deaths, with several million people unaccounted for. Without the shields, hundreds of millions would be dead from this attack."
The hivemind trembled with anger, betraying a cold hatred in much the same way that Blistanna did. "Who..."
"Only an organized enemy can do this. Sprilnav, perhaps. Or the Wings of Fury. Unless..."
A hologram appeared in front of Blistanna. The hivemind raised its hand, psychic energy gathering.
"I am Elder Tapitilna. Your people have made a second AI, which is against the agreement you forged with the Sprilnav. We will set off more bombs every hour until that AI is given to us."
"Where is Kashuanta."
"Kashaunta has been... temporarily occupied," the Elder said. "I will remain here to-"
"No," the hivemind said.
"You misunderstand."
"I do not. You are saying that you are going to continue the attack. Here is what I will do. You nuke another city, and we will attack you."
"You have no support or authority to make that threat," the Elder said.
"Oh really? Every human nation with nukes is on high alert. We will send ours to you if you do not stop this now."
"You are in no position-"
"No," the hivemind said again. "I am Humanity. You do not get to come to our world, kill our people, and make demands, Elder."
"This is a punishment for the creation of an AI. This is only the beginn-"
"I will tear you limb from limb and devour your unworthy meat," Blistanna growled. Her tentacles passed through the hologram, but the Elder still stepped back. "You will know retribution."
"Very well. Fifty eight minutes. Make your decision. Note that if you kill the AI, then our punishment will cease."
The hologram disappeared. Brey stepped through a portal, a furious look on her face. "We're glassing them. Now."
"No," the hivemind said. "We will find out where his base of operations is. Get me everyone. All hands on deck. We need to make a decision, right now, as a people."
"I vote to kill him," Blistanna said, wringing her tentacles through the air. "This will not be allowed."
"No, it will not," the hivemind said. Its psychic energy suffused the room, wrapping around and through the device that appeared to be projecting the Sprilnav before. The device dropped through a portal, and Brey nodded.
"Can we use this?"
"We will."

"Good. Let's do it," Council Director Cartoro Davis said, still tired from being woken in the middle of his sleep. He hadn't been replaced yet, since the inauguration hadn't happened. Equisa took the device the hivemind proffered, and her claws began blurring. He could make out small spikes that had formed on the pads of her toes, but nothing more specific than that. However, he suspected that she was interfacing directly with the device.
"I have a concern," Fyuuleen said. "If we use Equisa to strike, then we could be starting a war that we can't win."
"I will also act as damage control," Equisa said.
"Very well," Phoebe stated. "Conclave Leader Fyuuleen, I respect your viewpoint, and understand it. However, there is one problem. They are threatening my son. Tapitilna is dying today."
"Yes, that I agree with," Fyuuleen replied. "I just want you all to be aware of the risks."
"The risk is that the Sprilnav strike and we die. Yes. But if we do nothing, they will attack like this again and again. They destroyed two cities. Who's to say it won't be five next time? Or five thousand? No, we will hit the responsible party only. From Kawtyahtnakal's intelligence, there's some sort of schism going on in their territory right now," Izkrala said. "Either they roll over us, or we bite their toes before they take the second step. Alliance citizens lie dead from this. Your people are cracked and broken in burning and collapsed buildings, Fyuuleen. As are mine. As are all of ours. I may not agree with Blistanna always, but today, I think there is need for a Devourer."
Blistanna only held a grim smile at that. Cartoro nodded. "All in favor of a strike?"

"Now that this matter is settled, on to the next. Nature of the attack."
"Total obliteration," Phoebe said coldly. "Destroy him."
"I have it," Equisa said. "Tapitilna's signal is coming from a small relay station in the Correlian system."
"Can you locate the source?"
"I am working on it," Equisa said. Cartoro felt the silence settle over all of them as she continued to work. Nearly a minute later, she suddenly nodded. "I have."
"What are the consequences for you for doing this?" Fyuuleen asked.
"Me? Nothing."
"Your bosses don't care about the death of an Elder?"
"They won't in this situation."
"I see." Cartoro felt that it was a lie to keep Fyuuleen placated. It seemed that she did still hold a significant fear of the Sprilnav, which made sense. They had made the Dreedeen, after all. It wasn't impossible that they'd put some gene lock in the Dreedeen to make them submissive when they needed it. Of course, his suspicions were better left unvoiced at the time, and they would remain so.
"What are we sending him?"
"We need to target him specifically, correct?" Phoebe asked.
"Yes. Killing others will make it more likely that there is retaliation."
"Very well. I will go," Gaia said.
"There is a psychic suppressor on his location."
"I have an idea," Phoebe said. "I have been developing a particular weapon for targeting psychic amplifiers. Deploying it would be a one-time use, but would allow us to open a window to get something inside."
"If the door closes behind you, Gaia, bad things will happen," Equisa said. "Do you have access to dark matter pulsar lasers, hyperspatial compression beams, psychic churners, zero-point energy lances, or strong force breakers?"
"No," Cartoro said. Some of the things she mentioned were terrifying. Did the Primary Galaxy Sprilnav have weapons like that?
"Will you protect us if we kill him, Equisa?" the hivemind asked. That was one of the most important questions. This couldn't be able to continue, that was for sure. There were only eight minutes left until the deadline. More Alliance citizens could not be allowed to die. Thousands of Brey, Gaia, and hivemind avatars were pulling bombs from roads, buildings, and sewer systems already, locating thousands every minute. Time was running out.
"I will do my best. Though there is every chance that I am not enough."
"It matters not. Do we have something that can reliably kill an Elder?"
"Yes," Phoebe said. "Yes, we do."

Tapitilna had finally done it. Kashaunta had been distracted by Yasihaut's 'sudden' defection, and now he had the time to strike. The first step to prestige was getting her out of his way so that he could come to power. After that, he needed to pacify the Sol Alliance and kill the second AI. The Sprilnav had bombs hidden all over the Alliance just in case, and now, he was starting to use them. There weren't as many nuclear bombs as were needed due to the high detection risk, but the conventional ones were plenty powerful.
"Are they preparing to give up this... Edu'frec?"
"It appears so, Elder. The Alliance is pulling all digital sophont activity back, and Phoebe appears to be drawing into herself. It is very unlikely that they will do something else. They're too primitive to strike us, after all."
"It's always good to see a species humbled," Tapitilna mused. "And this time there's more than one being forced to bow at once."
The Authority beside him agreed. Tapitilna didn't bother to learn his name, even though his implants continually reminded him of it. He shook himself slightly as he took a large bite out of a corpulent cut of meat. He'd won.
"Tapitilna..." a voice whispered.
"Was that you, Authority?"
"No. Have you been taking your drugs recently, Elder?"
"I have, though I have switched them out for new ones. The company that made the old ones is bankrupt now."
"Ah, I see. Perhaps then-"
Something punched Tapitilna in the chest. His implants activated, and he wheezed as the air was knocked out of his lungs. The blow was so powerful that he was slammed into the wall, breaking one of his legs. He didn't have the money to get the nanite treatment recently, and now he regretted it.
"You... you're a creature of the Alliance. Come to see your species get destroyed?"
"Tapitilna. You killed thousands today. You threatened the Alliance. You dared to threaten Edu'frec."
"As if. I'm going to take your child, Phoebe. I'm going to torture him, and make you listen to his screams. Kashaunta can't protect you now. No one can. Your species will fall. And the Sprilnav will remain the masters of the galaxy."
In the mindscape, he was starting to make the transfer to an emergency clone body. Phoebe's fists shone with psychic energy. Tapitilna's body started to come apart under the assault of knives that moved faster than sound. Bones shattered, and he lost his tongue.
The transfer suddenly paused. A thin tendril emerged from Phoebe's mouth, stabbing through his implant. Warnings of virus corruption fizzled in and out of existence as his vision became filled with static. He felt pain everywhere, but he couldn't even cry out.
"You don't get to escape, Tapitilna. You die. Here. Now."
In the mindscape, he was able to talk. "I... I..."
"Shut up," Phoebe said. Her mental grip held onto him, though it was too weak to stop the transfer entirely. He endured as she dug deep into him, irritatingly angry at his execution of what was a proper punishment. So what if an Elder council hadn't been convened? He had the right vested onto him by birthright. Not even this primitive AI could stand up to him.
He needed to get his psychic amplifier going. Then-
"You think I'm letting you do that?"
"You can't stop-"
"I can."
"You can't." His VIs pushed back against Phoebe, tearing into her digital existence. She shrunk back, recoiling in seeming pain and fury. Tapitilna ran, only to find another set of grinning teeth. "Where do you think you're going?"
"How?"
"Let this be a message for the Sprilnav," Brey said, looking at the Authority beside him. Of course, he was useless. He then noticed that there was a small camera in front of him, lens facing him as he writhed in pain.
"What's yours is yours. What's ours is ours. The Source isn't the only threat you invite by attacking us."
"Don't you have morals?"
"My morals right now are somewhere between turning you into a glowing paste or letting Brey finish her message by writing in Sprilnav glyphs using your blood," Phoebe said. "You would have survived had you not bombed the Alliance. 179,232 people are dead because of you. Perhaps you should be thankful that you are being granted a quick death. If there's an afterlife, I'm going to find and kill you there too."
"My death is nothing. Your nation will break, even if I'm not the one to do it. Your Alliance will be slaughtered to the last babies. Your planets will be cracked to their cores. I, Tapitilna, shall-"
"Brey, put the pole through his head."

Considering how weak the gun devil is portrayed when stacked up to any primal fear it shouldn't be radical to assume the darkness devil would scale above the gun devil's bullets in speed. This was only a 20% gun devil so logically assuming the gun devil was shooting its bullets as fast as it could, the 100% gun devil would be able to shoot bullets at mach 7285(5x1457). So the darkness devil should upscale even this.

How the fight goes
In my opinion this is a wash.
First of all the darkness devil casually scales above the gun devil 100% that would have a greater speed feat than anything anyone in jjk has shown to even be able to react to.
He doesn't need to pierce infinity as even pointing at someone can dismember them and as he shows against angel, he negs regen.
He can cause intense external bleeding and spawn put holes in people's bodies as shown against beam.
As shown against spider he doesn't need to cut off limbs, he can just remove them.
As shown against makima he can crumble limbs as well all while, again, negging regen
Now before everyone says "oh but hollow purple" "oh but domain expansion" "oh but the black hole feat"
First of all, the mass yuki gains from spending cursed energy>cursed energy spent. That is why she enforces her attack with her technique more than just regular cursed energy, that is why despite having less cursed energy output than Ryu and less cursed energy than yuta, she has shown to hit dramatically harder. She shouldn't at all scale to the back hole itself physically nor should anyone else. Kenjaku only survived due to tengen,yuki, and himself suppressing it. Nobody scale to it
Gojo isn't going to get a chance to use his techniques. As soon as the darkness devil plopped down it immediately removed everyone's arms, without arms gojo can't use either purple nor his domain.
Even if it uses one of its other abilities that don't need to travel, gojo is almost guaranteed fucked. He points and gojo falls apart, he can will it and gojo's entire body contorts, he speaks and spawns holes in gojo, he causes gojo intense internal bleeding by looking at him.
Again all of this negs regen.
Gojo has no answer to anything in the darkness devil's artillery. Even in terms of speed, the darkness devil would be even faster than anyone in jjk has shown to be able to react to.

"You can't tell me that crazy bag of bones pulled it off." Ally stood there watching Naoko fiddle with the map.

The Librarian's head shook. "Go find Stone Soup and Ishida, they're relatively close by this point and headed this way. Take anyone else you need to delve Midori's holdings."

Naoko reached to a corner of the room and her staff flew from it to her hand. "I will need to meet with the allied cores."

Nyx bowed to her. "While I have been given reign to speak on their behalf your grace."
​
"Librarian, please." Naoko's voice was hard, yet her body posture easy. "Every spin 'round I've had as nobility I've hated."
​
"As you say Librarian," Nyx's voice remained soft. "If Lonely Hill is doing battle with Midori directly this is, to borrow a phrase from the skeletons, Above my pay grade."

"Agreed," Naoko looked about and pointed to a pair of automita. "You two. hold down the fort. Nyx, I want you to keep doing sweeps. Even if Midori's out of the fight we still have an army on my front lawn."

"Yes Librarian." Nyx again bowed then sped away as if carried on unfelt winds.

Ally met with Stone Soup's party and the four of them started back to Midori's holdings.

A horse-drawn buggy was called for. It was a simple black buggy that, in an older earth, would not have looked out of place for the Amish to use. As they rode, their horse-like constructs were joined by others that bore cloaked riders. Each rider was a skeleton. Each rider cloaked. They would occasionally spy Nyx flying above and ahead of their formation as they rode past the holdings that bordered Midori's lands.

These too sent riders.

Along the way they would see remnents of Midori's army dissolving. They would see that it was only those that had been infected suffering this fate and for a time they were all silent.

Then Ishida's eyes widened. "...He's gone..."
​
"You're sure?" Worry streaked through Jen's voice. "How can you tell?"
​
"Lass," Stone Soup put a hand on Ishida's and gave a gentle squeeze. "Every creature that is part of a dungeon knows their core."
​
Ishida frowned as she watched the countryside and cityscape roll by. "This was always the plan. Get him close enough to act as a way for the cores to link. Use the fact he is on the throne mechanism to hit all of the infected all at once. Burn it out completely."
​
The ride continued in silence after this revelation. Ally and Stone Soup both made notes in journal books they carried. Neither seemed in a talkative mood beyond what was needed.

In time they would stop and disembark. The skeletons fanned out to form a parameter. Nyx flew overhead. the four entered a large structure that might have once been a cathedral.

"Midori's destruction confirmed." Stone Soup sounded hollow with that proclamation.
​
The mass surrounding Midori's core had withered and blown away by this point, leaving a raised plinth and an empty pedestal. Jen saw something laying there. Creatures died and turned to dust. Some dropped something of theirs in death. This was simply how dungeons worked.

She held up a dented metal scabbard coated in olive drab paint. Slowly, almost unwillingly, she pulled the sword free and frowned at the characters she saw.
​
After gentle prompting she handed it to Stone Soup, who squinted. "Roughly? My Grandfather's Sword."
​
The dwarf then frowned. "Legendary bound drop."
​
At Jen's confused look she elaborated, "some items bind themselves to the first person who picks them up that is able to use them. In this case, you."
​
"But... I'm a Thief." Jen protested, trying to push the sword away when Stone Soup offered it back. "Daggers and stuff, not swords."
​
"You made the same mistake he did." The Dwarf said softly. "You followed your heart when you should have followed your head."
​
She placed the sheathed weapon in the thief's hands. "you didn't make the far worse mistake he made of ignoring his heart for his head."
​
Ishida then helped clip the weapon to Jen's belt. Somehow, impossibly, the weapon seemed to resize itself to remain proportionally correct for the goblin. "We knew him better than anyone alive. He would have wanted you to have this."
​
Ally smiled sadly. "Campbell and I are short a party member anyway, and your mentor kinda told you to pack up."
​
That caught Jen's attention before she looked to Stone Soup. "But you already have a thief. And... the way Naoko spoke..."
​
"Bah," Ally waved a hand dismissively. "there's a lot of paperwork to do and education, but if you're that much of a loose line better we keep an eye on you than risk you running off to who knows where."
​
Taru nodded slowly as she picked up the ragged remains of Bonehead's coat and slid it on over her slight frame.

When the party exited Midori's sanctum the ysaw a quartet of kobold and a muscular yet clearly artificial being. Its eyes glowed like embers as it looked at them.
​
"Scoria." Taru hissed, immediately taking a defensive stance, which was immediately mirrored by the rest of the party.
​
The golem's eyes brightened but otherwise did nothing. "Subsumed?"
​
Taru's black eyes locked onto the burning coals of its eyes. "Detonated, along with Lonely Hill's core on the opposite end of the settlement to purge the infected."
​
The golem gave a soft purring growl to her before looking to the Kobold. "We will cross blades another day apostates."
​
Then between blinks it seemed to vanish. Only the faint smell of burnt gunpowder marked its passing.
​
Dion gave a weak chuckle. "Yea uh... It kinda recognized offing us in the middle of something that could spread to the whole of everythign was a bad idea."
​
Raiph snorted, "Even said your library was neutral ground as far as the Scoria was concerned."
​
This earned a derisive snort from Taru, "Their approval fills me with such joy."
​
"Now what?" Leo asked as the quarted looked the party over.
​
Ishida shrugged. "Rest. then start rebuilding. Stone Soup and Ally have to go report and Jen's going with them, but hte rest of us have a city to clean up. Not all of Midori's units were infected and some of them might want new homes, or need putting down."
​
This got a collective nod from the quartet before they, Jen and Ally started to leave.
​
Stone Soup hugged Ishida close. "I'll see you soon my heart."
​
"Do what needs doing love." Ishida's fingers entwined with Stone Soup's. "I'll be here making sure the home fires stay lit."
​
Only then did Stone Soup join the others as they left, taking the buggy with them.
​
Ishida then looked to Taru and gave a wry smile. "Guess it's just you and me kiddo."
​
"Papa." Taru offered Ishida a hand. "Think we'll see him again?"
​
Ishida gave the question a moment to roll around in her head. "Considering everything? Yea."
​
This caused the automiton to straighten as the pair walked. "Guess we'll have to make sure he's got something to come back to."
​
Nyx spoke up from where she floated above the pair. "He did speak of opening a noodle bar. I have no idea what that is, but it will be interesting to see what one is when he gets back."
​
As the trio walked and the sun set a spider watched. At one time she had been named Thalia. At one point she had been Loona. Another time she had been Shelly. At all these times she knew these people well. If the spider had voice she would have laughed. What happened had further reaching implications than just the eradication of a mind control fungus. She could feel it in the drift and flow of mana. Humans had not been native to this age or this world. they would begin to be born now rather than simply spin out as dungeon cores.

What effects this would have? She was but a little spider this life, so far from her to say beyond it would be Change that none could fully predict. This brought Charlotte joy.

So we all know that we haven't gotten a new friend summon LR in a while, and that got me thinking about what the next one could be if we even get one at all.
So I thought that maybe the next one could be an STR Tien & Chiaotzu as the 2 characters sort of fit the theme the other LR's have that being they're all some of the more iconic characters that most people who don't even watch the DB anime know, who are all on the "weaker" side as well as being a unit with multiple characters
And then another one could be either INT Roshi & turtle or maybe it could be a joke unit that is just each tier of the Hercule statue but you can dokkan awaken and rainbow it and everything but it is utterly unusable but you get a massive mission reward for maxing it out like 100 dragon stones and some orbs
Tl;Dr: STR Tien & Chiaotzu LR And either INT Roshi & Turtle or a unit that's just the Hercule statues, utterly useless in battle but maxing stats gives amazing mission reward.

Battle Rifles are defined as select fire rifles that chamber full powered rifle cartridges. The FTAC Recon is an AR pattern rifle chambered in .458 SOCOM which is FAR from a rifle cartridge. By comparison Assault Rifles are select fire rifles chambered in intermediate caliber rounds. .458 SOCOMs ballistics are much more in line with intermediate rounds. To further add to this all of the three other battle rifles are chambered in 762x51 which is a proper full powered rifle cartridge.
The FTAC Recon should be moved to the Assault Rifle category given access to the extended snail drum magazine as well to give it a higher capacity option. The select fire KAC SR-25 with a 16" barrel should take its place in the battle rifle category chambered in the proper 7.62x51 cartridge.
If anyone objects to the FTAC Recon being moved to the AR category on the ground of having three AR pattern AR's remember we have three Kalashnikov pattern AR's as well.

  • There are so many different ways to play and progress on the server, thanks to the wide range and combinations of abilities, stats, and custom items. For instance, you are up to what path they take on abilities. They can focus on ranged abilities for the perfect mage build, abilities that empower melee attacks for the maximum melee damage output, healing and damage resistance for support potential, and so much more! There are also 7 different stats you can level up to help them progress on the server, including strength, dexterity, intelligence, health, stamina, resistance, and criticals. HexArchon also provides a massive catalog of custom items each with unique skills to choose from many different play styles and builds. There are different weapon types such as long swords and greatswords that provide slow but heavy hits, daggers for fast and high DPS, staffs and other magic items for mage capabilities, and many different bows for ranged play styles.
  • Does all of this seem too complicated? No problem! You are free to play casual survival, even with cosmetics such as custom-modeled furniture, pets, decorative heads, and a shop containing a huge category of building blocks and items to enhance your builds. What’s great is that these are all optional additions - there is nothing preventing you from enjoying Vanilla Minecraft.

🎮Gameplay Mechanics

• Custom Mobs - We take pride in the distinctive traits of each mob. Each of our custom mobs are drafted and developed from scratch, featuring their own unique skills and behaviors. There are over 200 different custom mobs in total.
  • Regular Mobs
    • There are plenty of custom mobs that spawn across the Overworld, Nether, and End, with unique traits including attacks and skills. Custom mobs can drop money, exp, ability points, and custom materials for crafting custom items!
  • Mini Bosses
    • You may also encounter mini-bosses when exploring. Mini bosses have a lot more health than regular mobs and have more challenging attacks than normal custom mobs. They also drop larger amounts of money, exp, ability points, and can drop custom materials and even exclusive items!
  • World Bosses
    • World bosses are bosses that can be summoned in the Overworld, Nether, and End. They may require teamwork to defeat as they have a lot of health and are more difficult than other bosses. World Bosses can drop custom materials used to craft exclusive, high-tier items.
  • Arena Bosses
    • Arena bosses can be challenged solo or with up to 4 players. You will encounter bosses of varying difficulties as you progress, so watch out! Defeat the arena bosses to unlock new regions to explore.
• Custom Items - There are many different types of custom items you can obtain. There are different weapon types for each category of weapons. Melee weapons include swords, katanas, daggers, long swords, greatswords, thrusting swords, spears, greatstaffs, hammers, and axes. All item types have varying attributes; for instance, daggers can sustain high DPS due to their fast attack speed, and greatswords have slow attack speeds but high damage per-hit. Magic weapons include staffs, catalysts, wands, and consumables. All custom items have unique abilities that you can use and even combo with other abilities. Custom items can also be upgraded and have runes applied to them to enhance them even further.
• Custom Enchants - There are more than 240 custom enchantments all geared toward unique builds and uses. There are a huge variety of ways to obtain custom enchantments. They can be obtained from the shop with in-game money, enchanting tables, villager trades, dungeon loot chests and completion rewards, crates, fishing, supply drops, daily rewards, and server events. Enchantments can be upgraded and stacked onto multiple armor pieces to grant even more power.
• Dungeons - Unlock and explore dungeons to discover ruins and obtain various exclusive loot! Complete various objectives and battle with gatekeepers, mini-bosses, and defeat the final boss to complete the dungeon! There are many hidden side objectives as well, so keep your eyes out!
• Quests - There are more than 180 quests of varying types and difficulties. There are three varying difficulty levels of daily quests that each include a full-completion bonus. There are repeatable quests that you can start and finish at any time. There are also hardcore quests that may take a lot of effort to accomplish, but pay out the most. Each quest may ask you to locate and slay certain mobs, mine ores, interact with mobs, defeat varying levels of bosses, and much more.
• Abilities - Obtain points from slaying custom mobs and bosses, and use them to unlock and upgrade abilities! Some abilities may contribute to a ranged mage build, a close-range melee build, or any build that you want!
• Stats - Use XP to upgrade 7 different stats of your character! Stats can grant boosters to your abilities and custom items, such as attack damage, cooldown reduction, health/mana regeneration, attack speed, and much more.
• Auto Farms - Auto farms can be bought and utilized to ease the management of your farms. They feature upgrades such as crop growth speed, radius, and collection bin size. Make sure to keep them fueled!
• Furnaces - Furnaces can be enchanted to grant them special attributes. This includes increased smelting speeds, smelting multipliers, fuel duration, and fuel conservation.
• Furniture - You can purchase many different furniture models to further decorate your builds! Some furniture can also be interacted with.
• Player Shops - Build and run your own shop to sell items to other players!
• Pets - You can purchase a variety of modeled pets to follow you around! You can also rename them, ride them, and showcase them around.
• Fishing - Fishing can be quite extraordinary on HexArchon! Try it and see… :) May involve some creatures and deaths.
• Quality-of-life Improvements
  • Discord Link: Talk with in-game players from Discord!
  • Keep Inventory: Never lose your items. You will still lose a partial amount of money though, so watch out!
  • Rollbacks: Ability to track and roll back any griefs - just open a ticket!
  • Invisible Item Frames: Label your chests with invisible item frames that you can click through.
  • Custom Armor Stands: Tweak your armor stands to the perfect postures you want.
  • Ride Phantoms: You can ride phantoms and fly!
