Recently bought the signature keyboard since it was on sale. Previously I was using the USB-C charger for slim pen.
With the USB-C charger, the surface app wouldn't tell me the charge level of the slim pen, just what it was when I put it on the charger. I knew it was charging though because picking up the slim pen 2 off the charger for a second and then putting it back I see how much it's charged. I won't see the battery go, 5% to 6% to 7% etc... but pick it up for a second and put it down I can sew it's charged up from 5% to 10%. Wait a few minutes, pick it up, it's gone from 10% to 15%. If I just leave it there, even though it's charging, surface app won't tell me the charge level until I pick it up and put it down. Annoying but it's easy at least.
With the new keyboard, I know it's charging but again again I don't see slim pen charging level changing.. and even more annoying i have to restart SP8 just to see it's current charge level. Picking it up and putting it down isn't doing the trick...
Anyone run into this? Yes I'm all updated BTW. Any potential fixes?

Hi all,
I've been dealing with migraines/headaches for the past year and a half. I think it started due to stress but eventually just became chronic, to where I'm having them every day or every other day. They're very sudden as far as I can tell, as I never notice any warning signs before they hit, and they sit mostly at the front right side of my head and behind my right eye.
About six months ago, I finally broke down and met with my doctor to try and deal with them. He prescribed 10 mg of nortriptyline/Pamelor to help, later increased to 25 mg, and within about 3 weeks of increasing the dose, it almost completely erased them, as I went from almost daily headaches to one per month. 2 weeks ago, though, it just suddenly returned without warning, to where I'm having headaches pretty much daily. I saw my doctor again because of how suddenly the nortripyline just quit on me, and he put me on propanolol (beta blocker) in addition to the nortriptyline.
Unfortunately, the propanolol really doesn't feel like it's impacting me that much. I'm not sure how long it takes for propanolol to become therapeutic, but I've been on it for about a week and it feels barely any better. We tried sumatriptan as an "as needed" relief, but anytime I took it, my neck would become so stiff that I felt like it was resting on stones for hours.
I'm admittedly having a really tough time of it right now, so if anyone has any suggestions on what to try if the propanolol + nortriptyline doesn't work out, that'd be greatly appreciated. I'm nearly about to just go ahead and see a neurologist instead of my general practitioner here.

In the newest dev version I've finally found out how to edit code, and have (thank you devs) been able to edit the code with help of dev notes (resources > game config). This is great for one, there's an option to freeze season progression to the one you started the Clan save on. I've used this for a nuclear-winter scenario so far for my post-apocalyptic Clans, also using this to increase permanent condition chance 'due to intense radiation'.
Using this to make your game further accurate to your chosen storyline, lore, etc. is a really damn fun thing, though be careful to do it right so you don't end up breaking your game and possibly losing saves.

Hello everyone, I'm having problems when I try "refraction statics" in the ProMAX software which is run through a virtual box (centos). 1. Is there no way to increase the limit on how many building pieces you can use? 150 walls seems very low

3. After playing around a bit, the truck for out base was destroyed during a base assault. It says I need command points to repair it. I have none and my siblings can't use theirs. How do I get more command points? The wiki isn't very clear

Took a year off after breaking my collar bone a month after leaving my last store. Started at my new store 2 weeks ago. Cool indy store, every Charger and Challenger, now up to the Super Stock I took in against a 2018 911 Turbo S. More Manual 5.0's then I know what to do. Loving it, I love cars and love their inventory. But my first sale? Getting my tie cut? Customer 2 hours away inquires about a $10K red Dodge Journey with 138k miles. Oh boy. Let me just get him in to the store and Ill flip him. But no. He wants 3 rows. And he wants home delivery. He is also going to pay with a Navy Fed draft. WHY GOD WHY? Customer gets what customer wants though. So I put the deal together and send it to the box to spin the paperwork. I ask the owner how he wants to handle delivery. He jumps and says he will personally go with me after we close at 8. The owner personally going out with me just to get it done today? He said its just so we can break the seal on my first deal, cut my tie, and get to business. Ok? So, 8 rolls around and I say my prayers and prepare to step inside the Journey to begin the 2 hour trek to the customer. Car has no issues, no lights, no funny sounds. We get there, its 11:00 since we left an hour late. Customer and owner do the paperwork sitting inside the Journey while I am sitting in the back. We collect the check, hop in the new Escalade the owner brought to take us back, and the owner turns to me and says "Thank you laylowlazlo, I have been trying to get rid of that Journey for AWHILE". Now I see why the owner is out in the boonies with me at 11:30 PM. But I know what I just did. I couldn't enjoy the plush captain's chair and backseat amenities of that Escalade because all I could think about was what I did while the owner hauled ass back to the store (Those new Escalade's can MOVE). Get back to the store, wish the owner good night and get in my car to go back home. I get in the next morning and I hear the Journey woke up the next morning and chose violence, showing the warm glow of its CEL light and according to the owner misfiring and having piston problems. The customer has Navy Fed cancel the draft check we collected before it even made it into the store in the morning and just said please come get this car. I am just thankful that the sale that got my tie cut was NOT a Dodge Journey. That is not how I want to start this next step in my career, and thankfully some guy came in said he wanted our Mazda CX-30 and just took it home that night. Tie cut. End of story.

Got drunk after work on monday (ETA I'm a server and was closing alone, got drunk alone to numb ptsd flashbacks afterwards, sitting at the bar, before going home. I fell asleep there. Left before anyone came in but was caught on camera. I was off the clock and done with my duties but still in the work place eh)
Haven't touch a drink since then. I was feeling hopeful, no cravings whatsoever.
I just learned that I am fired (3 days later). I live in the company apartments. I have 24h to leave. I am 5000 km away from home.

I decided to not fight my employer's decision, but negotiated for a longer stay in my current apartment which is owned by the company I worked for. I still have to leave in two days, but it gave me some time to at least calm down and plan a little.
I've been feeling awful since I received the news that I lost my job and home, but it was a decision from head office and not direct management, so my coworkers have been incredibly supportive and helpful. The town where I reside is a very small, tight-knit community, there's only about 30 of us living here. Last night, my roommate invited our friends over for a sober boardgames night. It was simply amazing and I was shocked by how much people care for me and how upset they are about me having to leave. I had to talk people out of quitting in solidarity. I own my fuck up and they should not face unemployment because I do.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I am from Canada and live approximately 5000 kms away from home. I moved from the east coast (Montréal) to western Alberta a year ago. The only people I know here live in this tiny town, so I have nowhere to take refuge and regroup.
Losing my job is one thing, losing my home is just horrible. I have a long history of losing my home. I am 30 and this is the sixth time that I have HAD to move, instead of making the choice to.
- From birth to the age of 14, I lived in the same appartment. My dad and I had to move because our downstairs neighboor tried to break in and threatened to kill me every day during 2 years
- After we moved, my dad's drug addiction got worst, his suicidal ideations too. Not long after, my abusive uncle moved in with us. A few months after, I moved in with my older boyfriend because I was terrified and I was trying to keep myself mentally and physically safe
- 2 weeks before I turned 19, my older boyfriend, who was also abusive, kicked me out. I was estranged from my family so I ended up in the streets for almost a year
- Eventually, I managed to rent a place. It took time but I made it a home. Sadly, 2 years late, there was a home invasion at my apartment. A stranger forced his way in one night and held me captive for over 48 hours. He held me at gunpoint and raped me over the course of two days, then robbed me of most things I owned (even food and clothes) before leaving
- I obviously had to move out after. I found another apartment and managed to feel kinda safe and made it a home after a few years. It was my nest, my difficultly built safe place.
- After 8 years living there, I was woken up one night by a fire. I barely made it out alive. I lost everything I have ever possessed. EVERYTHING, except the clothes on my back and one of my two cats. I made it out alive, but I lost the safe living space I worked so hard to build.
- Last year, I moved all the way accross the country to try and rebuild myself. I found in this tiny town community, support, and the feeling of home. Now, I'm losing that again.
Having to leave is a terrible ptsd trigger but fortunately, my adrenaline kicked in and I'm sort of managing.
I started drinking hard 10 years ago to deal with the home invasion, and it finally caught up to me.
I found a place to stay at, with friends I lived and worked with last year. They're welcoming me with open arms. My struggle at the moment is to find a way there because they moved 10 hours away, in British Colombia, and I don't drive. The closest major city to me is 3 hours away.
Anyway, I still need love, support and encouragement.

A couple months ago I was seshing with a friend and I started to freak the fuck out. Honestly, it's on me for even thinking of smoking cause I was dealing with a lot of stress due to shitty circumstances. I just thought it would be alright and the weed would boost my mood.
The episode started with a mild panic attack that became increasingly overwhelming, I started hearing auditory hallucinations that in the moment I thought was a demon and I genuinely felt like I was seeing my life flashing before my eyes. I started to blame myself for what was happening in the world. (We smoked in a park which was a horrible idea, there was an accident a couple suburbs away and multiple ambulance sirens were going off which probably just worsened what I was feeling). I was reliving traumas in my life that I either forgot or stuffed away in the back of my mind. I felt that the world was meaningless and I had no purpose being here. But I was connecting significant meaning behind events that were very normal I just didn't realise and thought I was a genius. It was weird at points I just wanted to jump off a cliff to stop the thoughts but at other points I thought I was the chosen one and figured out the secrets of the world, LOL. It went on for a while maybe a couple hours, my friend wasn't sure if he should call the ambulance or not and I really did not want him to. Weed is illegal where I live and I'm pretty young, I didn't want to deal with the repercussions and honestly I'd be embarrassed for the rest of my life if I went to the hospital from weed of all things. I told him I just want to sleep it off, not sure if it was coherent but I managed to fall asleep and woke up maybe an hr later feeling terrified but I was tapped back into reality and gave him a hug. I can't imagine how traumatizing it was for him to see that.
I think there's multiple reasons for why it happened: Stress, sleep deprivation (I hadn't slept the night before since my sleep schedule is fucked, I'm always sleeping at 5-6AM), food? We didn't eat beforehand. I wanted to save my stomach for munchies. Caffeine maybe? I'm a huge coffee drinker and wouldn't be surprised if mixing caused some reaction, and nicotine. I'm also a big vaper so could be a combination of all the aforementioned reasons for why it happened
P.s I just realised it was a psychotic episode last night after randomly searching about it while high.
I smoked a couple times after that time and I had a minor attack but since I already experienced it I was able to control it. Last night I had a slight attack but once again was able to control it but freaked out a little when realising it was a psychotic episode. But after that freak out I had an enjoyable time just watching South Park. Tbf yesterday was also not the best time to be smoking cause I'm still dealing with the stress but also smoked with parents being upstairs, super risky but it was midnight so I just did it. Didn't get caught or anything so that was good.
My question is, will I be able to smoke again without feeling any psychotic symptoms? Or should I lay off the weed and just stick to nic. Cause I notice if my mindset is very negative the high also reflects that. Should I just do it when I'm in a good mood? I'm sorta scared to get high alone without anyone in the house with fears of an episode happening and I have no one to talk to.

Hey everyone I am a contractor in Kentucky, and I’m having quite the situation. I’ll preface by saying I’m not the owner of the company or the builder, but I am the sales guy and face of the company for that project. I sold roughly 200 feet of vinyl fence for roughly 11000. I thought it was an odd request but I’m an honest person so I allowed it knowing my next stop was the store to order the material. After he takes the picture he makes all kinds of verbal threats toward me before finally saying I hope you do the right thing. I brush it off and the project starts the next day and the next few days he texts me with nothing but praise about my laborers and how good of a job they are doing except one issue. I meet him for the issue and we correct it and he then puts me in touch with his boss who is going to give me a very large list of properties to look at for storm damage (an enormous opportunity for me to do well). Finally the day comes to pay and he has a laundry list of problems. He is also threatening me continuously at this point. We correct his issue with the gate, but he has an issue with the way the fence flexes in the wind (~30 mph) I explain it’s a feature of the product and that it does that so the concrete isn’t wiggled loose in the ground (3 bags of concrete per post, aluminum inside gate posts, and dug well below frost line). He tries to tell me his neighbors doesn’t do that so we go to his neighbors and prove that it does, and he then pays all but 100 for something we still needed to do because the piece went missing on the job site. Fast forward three weeks to today, and to this point we have had plenty of bad weather and high winds and the fence is totally in tact and fine minus one cracked bottom rail that he notified me of and I told him we would fix our next available day. He then texts me saying everything is completely unacceptable and sends me a picture of him digging up our posts to add more concrete( voiding our warranty because it’s no longer our work). He is obviously very angry and thinks it’s all wrong so I sent him installation videos and pictures from various different websites that explain everything we did is correct. I am very afraid of this man and he has my address. What do I do, what can I do? All threats were verbal, so no proof but they were some pretty serious ones such as threatening my life and my families. I’ll also now miss out on the very large opportunity given to me. Any advice?
