Me and my family just recently moved into a new neighborhood. The first month was no problem from neighbors. A month later one afternoon I was sitting in front of my house in my car and all of sudden a woman comes out of nowhere and proceeds to bang on my driver side car window. I rolled my window down a little bit to speak and she then accuses me by saying she saw me hitting my neighbors bricks who lives directly next door to me and driving on their grass. I told her she was mistaken and that I never hit anyones bricks. She then proceeds to blow her cigarette smoke in my car. I then get out of the car and speak to her as I don't want her to continually blow her cigarette smoke in my car. I then asked her where she lives and she tells me she lives at the corner house while still blowing her cigarette smoke in my face. It seemed like she was doing all of this out of pettiness but as we were new to the neighborhood I decided not to start and argument and just politely ended the conversation. She then walks down to the corner house and turns the corner to another street. I thought nothing of it until a week later come to find out she doesn't live at the corner house and that she actually lives directly cross the street from me. I had hardly seen her or crossed paths so when she initially came up to my car I had no idea who this woman was. Please stay with me because this is where the madness begins. A week later I was leaving out for work. Now mind you I park my car on the street in front of my house sometimes and as you know you sometimes have to drive in a neighbors driveway when parking on the street to turn around. I did just that but instead of using the neighbors across the street driveway (cigarette lady) I decided to use the neighbor who lives directly next door to her to avoid any problems with cigarette lady since she lied and accused me of something I didn't do. As I was driving in this lady's driveway (who lives next door to cigarette lady) I ENSURED I didn't drive on her grass since again me and my family are new to the street and also since the cigarette lady has already made up a lie about me driving on someone else's grass I didn't want anymore problems. As I drove in her driveway was I went slow and made sure I didn't drive all the way in her driveway only up to the sidewalk. This lady then runs out her back door and comes up to her gate and yells something at me. I rolled my windows down and asked her what did she say because I didn't hear her. She then says "Don't get on my motherfucking grass". I was in complete shock. Because I made sure I wasn't on her grass and that I drove slow. I then say to her "You don't have to speak to me like that I never met you. You're being very ignorant with me. I'd appreciate it if you not talk to me in that manner" she then says "I don't give a fuck don't drive on my fucking grass, bitch" After this we get into a brief argument and I drive a way. When I come home she's already waiting on her porch and I was prepared to ignore her as I was still in shock someone could talk to someone like that who've never down anything to them. She then "Hey, I wanted to apologize for earlier." and I then say I do not accept your apology kindly as If Im being honest I was still upset by the names she called me. After I declined her apology she then says "Nevermind bitch". I knew then none of this was going to be good. I concluded that night that what might have triggered her to lie and say I was on her grass was because the cigarette lady told her I drove my neighbors grass so when I drove in her driveway she already had preconceived notions about me off of what she has heard from cigarette lady. Ever since then her and the cigarette lady has went to half the neighbors on our street lying to them telling them that I did this, that, and the third as if Im bullying them for no reason. Other neighbors has chosen "their side" because other neighbors would say stuff to me as Im walking my dog or when I wave at them they blatantly don't wave back. Whenever I would water my grass cigarette lady and driveway lady would get on one of their porches and gossip about me. I just ignore them until a week ago. Last week I decided to take my dog on a walk around the neighborhood as I normally do. Usually when I walk my dog I try to stay on my side of the street to avoid further confrontation but and sometimes I walk my dog on both sides cigarette lady and driveway lady side of the street as well as my own. And I decided to walk on both sides. As I began to walk my dog, driveway lady then looks out her front door and then rushes out her back door to walk her dog. I then said I will try to talk to her today and try to end the conflict. So I walked my dog to the corner of our street and waited for her to come around the block to speak to her. And I did I spoke to her and also mentioned to her I don't like the things she been doing and that it's ridiculous she has involved all the neighbors. She then said yes "I told everyone, I will keep telling everyone" from there I knew she was insane. So I politely asked her to stop the drama with my family and I and leave us alone and walk away and she agrees and we go our separate ways. Out of nowhere her mother and father pulls up in the middle of the street then jumps out the car and begin to yell at me. Mind you this lady is about 41 years old. I knew this was her parents because she called them mom and dad. I then say a few words back and just go home. I didn't even get to finish walking my dog. I go home lay down and 30 minutes later the police shows up at my door saying that the "driveway" lady parents called and told them I was walking my dog on the wrong side of the street and that I have been harassing her and the neighbors. I then ask him is it a crime to walk by dog on a public side walk although I always make sure my dog doesn't poop on anyones lawn. He says no and then actually agrees that her calling the police on me was ridiculous and that I have every right to walk my dog on either side of the street. So after that the police gives me an incident report number and I go inside. The police then goes over to driveway lady's front yard and speak to her and her family. So decided to walk my dog again since I didn't get to finish walking him the first time and I thought this was the perfect time since the police was there. I began walking my dog and this time I was going to walk around the corner to a different street. As I passing by the corner house on my street to go around the corner to a different street a man and his wife are on their porch starring at me with anger in their eyes I just looked away and kept walking. Then the woman on the porch goes "Who the fuck are you starring at" I said "I don't know you" and she then jumps off the porch and goes "Im [insert name] who the fuck are you" I tried to keep walking before I know it she's slapping me upside my head. Before I can defender myself the police who was once talking to "driveway" lady then runs up puts me in handcuffs then gives me a ticket for disorderly conduct. They then let me go and gave me my ticket. I was in tears and in shocked that this was really happening to me. I then told my family about it who lives near and my brother rush over and confronts the lady and her husband. Apparently she claims that I have been bullying "driveway" lady and that I'm a horrible person which is why she attacked me. The police refused to give her ticket for assault as they said "They didn't see anything" I know this was very long but what do I do. We have a court date set as well. She I hire a good lawyer or do I even have a case. Pertaining to the neighborhood do I contact city council? Where do I go from here?

First of all I just want to start with saying that I haven't really been playing Payday 2 at all, I'm just a shareholder that's been keeping up to tabs with what's going on within Starbreeze as a company and news on the release of PD3.
That being said I'm still a gamer and I understand the frustration over the non existing communication, mods breaking, MTX fears and everything around that, we're all hoping for a great PD3. But I hope I will be able to shed some light about the situation that might be helpfull for you guys and might help easing the frustration felt.
Now, to understand what's happening right now and why we have to go trught some history:
Restructuring:
Due to missmanagment the company almost went bankrupt in 2018, the company restructured in 2019 and during that restructuring deal assets where sold, loans where converted into stock etc and the company was saved from bankrupcy and could be kept afloat by PD2 content sales.
PD3 Publishing deal:
Due to the restructuring there here was no mony left, so in 2021 Starbreeze signed a €50 million publishing deal with Koch Media (Plaion) that fully financed the remaining development of Payday 3, publishing, and post-launch support, with the game targeted for a 2023 release.
PD3 and Summer Games Fest:
Since Plaion is the publicer, due the publishing deal they are in control of any news / promos / details etc about Payday 3, SB aren't legally allowed to say anything about the game and must follow Plaions release / promo plan.
Directed new share issue:
Starbreeze still has loans that they want to pay back so that they have operational freedome to persue more content for PD3, new IP's etc, so from the 1-14th of June a new share issuing is being done and is currently ongoing, it complicates things even more, since saying something wrong here could mean huge fines due to "insider trading" rules.
EGS:
With the leak of a potential release date of September 21 it makes sense for SB to implement cross-platform functions in their backend since this must work on the date of the release. Nothing is pointing to a EGS exclusive, cross-platform between Xbox, PC, Playstation, Steam, EGS etc is what to expect.
Due to this cross-platform implementation we're also leaving the old engine behind and moving to Unreal, that's why some things like Linux support is starting to break, everything is getting prepared for the launch of PD3.
MTX:
Yes, there will probably be ingame MTX, but since SB is unable to respond or awnser questions due to them having to stick to the release plan made by Plaion we just have to wait and get feedback on the concerns. However, I'm confident that they will not implement some BS P2W or alike, since it would destroy the game/ip and the company would go bankrupt, if PD3 fails, there is no PD2 or anything, the company will not survivle.
SGF:
Okay, so why no PD3 at Summer games fest? Because summer game fest is still ongoing and is doing so until sunday (or monday really). I'm confident, due to hinting tweets / leaks and common sense that the game will be unvield on Saturday or Sunday. Either during Future Games Show, PC Gaming Show or Xbox Showcase.
To summerize:
The company is full steam ahead for the release of PD3, they are unable to communicate with the community due to the deal with Plaion and the ongoing share issuing, after the game is unvield SB can go ahead and discuss all concerns.
I'm confident that the game is going to get revield this weekend, otherwise the share issuing would fail since the stock would drop very low since everyone is waiting for gameplay / more info about the game before they decide to invest or not.

So full disclosure, not all Opp techs are bad. In fact I really most of the guys in my branch. Now to the gist;
So I’m currently in residential sales. (I can already feel you rolling your eyes lol) don’t worry, I did my time with install, service, maintenance and fabrication for almost 10 years. Switched to sales only a year ago. I am no stranger to the tasks and hassle of service calls that a lot of you deal with every day. I truly admire it and even miss the work sometimes. However, at my company, it seems like management is encouraging techs to turn over leads on systems that are basically brand new.
It’s an uphill battle for me as a salesmen, and extremely dishonest to the customer. A fan motor slightly out of tolerance is not even kind of a good reason to suggest a replacement. I ran a call today for a 6 year old system because the tech said there is “some growth on the blower motor!??!?” Dude what? I fully understand these guys are just trying to hit their kpis and this issue really falls on management pushing them to churn out turnovers for literally any reason. This has a direct trickle down effect to the entire company and all the fingers get pointed back at the sales team.
In my previous company we took a lot of pride in being honest and transparent with the customer about what their system needed and genuine thoughts on life expectancy. Because of that, our client base trusted us and consistently kept us busy with returns and referrals. At my current company I walk into the home and the homeowner KNOWS replacement is bullshit before I can even say anything.
All this to say; thank you to all the honest, hardworking techs and installers who actually care about the service you are providing. This is a tough industry to make a career out of and I have nothing but respect for my fellow trades-men and women. I just wish corporate bullshit kpis didn’t screw us all over at every turn.

Me and my family just recently moved into a new neighborhood. The first month was no problem from neighbors. A month later one afternoon I was sitting in front of my house in my car and all of sudden a woman comes out of nowhere and proceeds to bang on my driver side car window. I rolled my window down a little bit to speak and she then accuses me by saying she saw me hitting my neighbors bricks who lives directly next door to me and driving on their grass. I told her she was mistaken and that I never hit anyones bricks. She then proceeds to blow her cigarette smoke in my car. I then get out of the car and speak to her as I don't want her to continually blow her cigarette smoke in my car. I then asked her where she lives and she tells me she lives at the corner house while still blowing her cigarette smoke in my face. It seemed like she was doing all of this out of pettiness but as we were new to the neighborhood I decided not to start and argument and just politely ended the conversation. She then walks down to the corner house and turns the corner to another street. I thought nothing of it until a week later come to find out she doesn't live at the corner house and that she actually lives directly cross the street from me. I had hardly seen her or crossed paths so when she initially came up to my car I had no idea who this woman was.
Please stay with me because this is where the madness begins.
A week later I was leaving out for work. Now mind you I park my car on the street in front of my house sometimes and as you know you sometimes have to drive in a neighbors driveway when parking on the street to turn around. I did just that but instead of using the neighbors across the street driveway (cigarette lady) I decided to use the neighbor who lives directly next door to her to avoid any problems with cigarette lady since she lied and accused me of something I didn't do. As I was driving in this lady's driveway (who lives next door to cigarette lady) I ENSURED I didn't drive on her grass since again me and my family are new to the street and also since the cigarette lady has already made up a lie about me driving on someone else's grass I didn't want anymore problems. As I drove in her driveway was I went slow and made sure I didn't drive all the way in her driveway only up to the sidewalk.
This lady then runs out her back door and comes up to her gate and yells something at me. I rolled my windows down and asked her what did she say because I didn't hear her. She then says "Don't get on my motherfucking grass". I was in complete shock. Because I made sure I wasn't on her grass and that I drove slow. I then say to her "You don't have to speak to me like that I never met you. You're being very ignorant with me. I'd appreciate it if you not talk to me in that manner" she then says "I don't give a fuck don't drive on my fucking grass, bitch" After this we get into a brief argument and I drive a way.
When I come home she's already waiting on her porch and I was prepared to ignore her as I was still in shock someone could talk to someone like that who've never down anything to them. She then "Hey, I wanted to apologize for earlier." and I then say I do not accept your apology kindly as If Im being honest I was still upset by the names she called me. After I declined her apology she then says "Nevermind bitch". I knew then none of this was going to be good.
I concluded that night that what might have triggered her to lie and say I was on her grass was because the cigarette lady told her I drove my neighbors grass so when I drove in her driveway she already had preconceived notions about me off of what she has heard from cigarette lady.
Ever since then her and the cigarette lady has went to half the neighbors on our street lying to them telling them that I did this, that, and the third as if Im bullying them for no reason. Other neighbors has chosen "their side" because other neighbors would say stuff to me as Im walking my dog or when I wave at them they blatantly don't wave back. Whenever I would water my grass cigarette lady and driveway lady would get on one of their porches and gossip about me.
I just ignore them until a week ago.
Last week I decided to take my dog on a walk around the neighborhood as I normally do. Usually when I walk my dog I try to stay on my side of the street to avoid further confrontation but and sometimes I walk my dog on both sides cigarette lady and driveway lady side of the street as well as my own. And I decided to walk on both sides. As I began to walk my dog, driveway lady then looks out her front door and then rushes out her back door to walk her dog. I then said I will try to talk to her today and try to end the conflict. So I walked my dog to the corner of our street and waited for her to come around the block to speak to her. And I did I spoke to her and also mentioned to her I don't like the things she been doing and that it's ridiculous she has involved all the neighbors. She then said yes "I told everyone, I will keep telling everyone" from there I knew she was insane. So I politely asked her to stop the drama with my family and I and leave us alone and walk away and she agrees and we go our separate ways. Out of nowhere her mother and father pulls up in the middle of the street then jumps out the car and begin to yell at me. Mind you this lady is about 41 years old. I knew this was her parents because she called them mom and dad. I then say a few words back and just go home. I didn't even get to finish walking my dog. I go home lay down and 30 minutes later the police shows up at my door saying that the "driveway" lady parents called and told them I was walking my dog on the wrong side of the street and that I have been harassing her and the neighbors. I then ask him is it a crime to walk by dog on a public side walk although I always make sure my dog doesn't poop on anyones lawn. He says no and then actually agrees that her calling the police on me was ridiculous and that I have every right to walk my dog on either side of the street.
So after that the police gives me an incident report number and I go inside. The police then goes over to driveway lady's front yard and speak to her and her family. So decided to walk my dog again since I didn't get to finish walking him the first time and I thought this was the perfect time since the police was there. I began walking my dog and this time I was going to walk around the corner to a different street. As I passing by the corner house on my street to go around the corner to a different street a man and his wife are on their porch starring at me with anger in their eyes I just looked away and kept walking. Then the woman on the porch goes "Who the fuck are you starring at" I said "I don't know you" and she then jumps off the porch and goes "Im [insert name] who the fuck are you" I tried to keep walking before I know it she's slapping me upside my head. Before I can defender myself the police who was once talking to "driveway" lady then runs up puts me in handcuffs then gives me a ticket for disorderly conduct. They then let me go and gave me my ticket.
I was in tears and in shocked that this was really happening to me. I then told my family about it who lives near and my brother rush over and confronts the lady and her husband. Apparently she claims that I have been bullying "driveway" lady and that I'm a horrible person which is why she attacked me. The police refused to give her ticket for assault as they said "They didn't see anything"
I know this was very long but what do I do. We have a court date set as well. She I hire a good lawyer or do I even have a case. Pertaining to the neighborhood do I contact city council? Where do I go from here?

Hey guys. Kind of curious to know why I wasn't hired. I know I can't get a definitive answer here but I would love to hear what everyone here thinks.

My whole working life, I've always worked in either sales, tech support, call centers that kind of thing and I wanted to try something different and so I applied back in February. No response until today. I completely forgot I applied but I was sent an email said "After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected for this position. New 22 Rc 390. Took it out today for about 2 hours. When I got home, shut down the engine to park in my garage, i noticed a squeaking noise in the rear. In neutral or in gear with clutch engaged it makes no difference. Sound persists. Any thoughts on what this could be? Makes me feel as if something is rubbing like pads stuck to the rotor or something. This definitely is a new sound as I’ve never heard it before.

They’re spending a lot of time together lately because he got injured while they were on a trip (bad fall, broken ribs, he’s on the mend, etc.) and he needs help with stuff while recovering. Because most of the time that they spend together is in my sister’s apartment, he started getting interested in Animal Crossing.
Since he’s getting so into it, my sister made him a profile on her Switch, reset the game (she had been wanting to do this for a while), established herself as an islander, and helped set him up on her island… and it hasn’t been easy. Long story short, he doesn’t play well with others in a game like this (he also doesn’t play video games at all). He doesn’t share the island well and gets upset when she cuts down certain trees, gathers materials that he wanted to gather, or dig up fossils that he wanted to dig up. At one point she logged on and he had designated A LOT of space toward carrots. Just carrots, nothing else. He’ll dig up all 4-6 fossils, but when she asks him to leave some in the future he doesn’t believe that there aren’t more for her to find. When she was putting together the three kits for Tom Nook with the various outdoor items that need to be placed near plot, he took one of the items and sold it because it was a hot item rather than make it himself (he didn’t think it was a big deal and said that he doesn’t get as many opportunities as her to make bells — are there tax brackets in ACNH? Because if so, she’s likely in a higher one than him). For her character to progress in the game, she has to travel to other islands instead of staying on her own island. I think shots were fired on both sides, whether intentional or not.
I didn’t make this post to parse out who’s right or wrong — I don’t care about that. It’s the first time that my sister has shared an island and I think they both have lessons to learn throughout this process.
All that said, have any of you had conflict with someone while sharing an ACNH island and, if so, how did you resolve it? She texted him today and suggested town council meetings every couple days so they could be on the same page and respect each other’s games, but I’m not sure that it’s realistic.
I’m sorry for them that the honeymoon phase is over, but I love that their first big conflict (that they needed to take a few hours of space for) is over Animal Crossing 😂

So I had ordered a washer and dryer from Best Buy in January and it was supposed to be delivered and installed (have total tech) in a couple weeks but it got delayed several times because of inventory issues.
In March they finally came but guy couldn’t install it cause they didn’t have all the parts so we rescheduled. Understandable, I didn’t know what I needed so fine.
2 weeks later they come again and leave because washer and dryer won’t “fit up the stairwell.”
Asked Best Buy for another team and this time the guy is good and brought it up stairwell and installed washer but couldn’t install dryer because it’s drum was broken so he said to have Best Buy send another.
Fourth team comes with dryer and refuses to install it because vent is in ceiling instead of the side walls. I told them then take it back and I’ll order from somewhere else. He said he couldn’t or they would have to charge me extra because no one told them to return it. Basically I couldn’t refuse so they put it in my garage and told me I’d have to pay someone else to install it because it was unsafe… my unit is new construction and builder confirmed it’s up to code and neighbors had no issue.
Fast forward to today. Best Buy would not send another installer and now I’m stuck paying an extra 225 on top of the 199 spent for total tech to have someone else to bring it upstairs and install.
Really, all around terrible experience and not sure how people are allowed to unilaterally break a contract and still force you to pay.
This whole third party system of avoiding responsibility is awful for the consumer. All I can do is vent on Reddit and nothing will ever change.

Take-Two (R*) is a public company. A company that is significantly held on a pedestal by a single title, a title which came out a decade ago, and doesn't make anywhere near as much money today in digital copy sales or shark card micro-transactions as it used to.
As a public company, R*/TT is required to satisfy public investors. The only way to do this in the constraints of a quarterly earnings call - to a demographic of investors that don't give a flying ass about games - is with $$$ numbers. If R* doesn't successfully increase the amount of people buying GTA+, and the amount of revenue GTA is bringing in, R* as a company would have to potentially layoff critical employees, for the sake of padding profit numbers and preventing sell-offs.
It seems people that expect TT to show up every quarter, and justify a significant miss on their expected Earnings Per Share, by saying "we're not going to try to make money off our most popular game, because it's old. But we're spending hundreds of millions on a new one!"
I personally don't mind a few pointless things hidden behind a paywall. If you want it, get it. If you don't, then don't get it. I enjoy CEO abilities being free and having a new random property to move to every month. It's 5 bucks.
